Opportunities and Events for most interests
An increase in volunteers has meant an opportunity to provide more events, work with more groups, speak at more functions, and be able to meet the needs of groups and individuals who ask for educational information. But as the events grow so does the need for volunteers. Whether you can give an hour every so often, or an hour a week we can use your time and talent. Volunteer opportunities include working at an event, sitting on a committee such as education, fundraising, Survivor, Pink Martini Night, Race and more. Volunteers are needed to help assemble education packets for Pink Sunday and other educational opportunities. Please complete a Volunteer Application and you will be contacted about attending a Komen 101 class that will familiarize you with Komen, our affiliate, breast cancer statistics for our area and why we need you. You will be given information about our different area and you choose where you would like to work. |
