Power of 10's Volunteer Training
August 25, 2010Meet our Volunteer Coordinator, Claire Ackiss, and other key Race for the Cure people who can explain the many areas that need volunteer staffing both before and during the October 16th Race for the Cure. This is a great way to get involved and still be able to participate in the Race. Don't have time this year to help? We have events throughout the year that need people and we'll discuss those opportunities as well. Find out how Komen is working throughtout the 21 counties of Southeastern Virginia to support education, screening and treatment for underserved women and men. We'll begin at 6:00 p.m. with a meet and greet social and then at 6:30 p.m. discuss volunteer opportunities. Your time and talent make a difference.
