 February 19, 2012- Hoops for the Cure (Norfolk)
Come out and support your Lady Monarchs as they compete against the VCU Rams at the annual Hoops for the Cure game. Game starts at 3:00pm and will be televised. See you there! Tickets can be purchased by clicking here. Survivors can receive a free ticket by using the promo code SURVIVOR. All other spectators can use the code PINK to ensure that 50% of your ticket sale will be donated back to Komen Tidewater.

 

March 3, 2012-Dancing for the Cure (Norfolk)
Music in Motion will host a performance at The Roper Performing Arts Center in Norfolk  to honor the thousands of men and women affected by breast cancer and other forms of cancer each year. Shaye Arluk, a breast cancer survivor and volunteer for Komen Tidewater, will be choreographing two pieces for the performance.

Tickets:
Adults- $15.00 (advance), $18.00 (at the door)
Students and Seniors- $12.00 (advance), $15.00 (at the door)
Groups of ten or more- $10.00/ticket (advance only)
*10% of ticket sales will benefit Komen Tidewater

March 5-10, 2012 - Cruising 4 A Cure on Carnival Cruise Lines

March 31, 2012-William and Mary Tribe Fest for a Cure (Williamsburg)
Come out and enjoy the cooler weather at the beautiful campus of William and Mary. This spring festival is hosted by the William and Mary Mason School of Business and will feature live music, silent and live auctions, vendor booths, games for the family, and much more. Ticket prices and where to purchase will be made available soon. 

April 14, 2012- Spartyka Fight League VII: TKO for the Ta-Tas
Amateur Mixed Martial Arts event at the Ted Constant Center in Norfolk. Doors open at 5:30pm and the event starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. September 1-November 15, 2012- Baker's Crust Color Me Caring Campaign (Hampton Roads and Williamsburg)
During this 75-day period, Susan G. Komen Tidewater will be the beneficiary from the Baker's Crust Color Me Caring Campaign. There will be a feature menu for the entire month of October, where $1.00 from every item ordered from that menu will be donated  to Komen Tidewater. The rest of the period, Baker's Crust will collect donations from customers and employees. We will have a few fundraising nights during this month, so be sure to check back for specific dates.

October 20, 2012- Cruise to Nowhere (Norfolk)
Are you looking for a relaxing get-a-way for a few days? Why not join us on the Cruise to Nowhere fundraising cruise on October 20, 2012. The cruise leaves port that afternoon, and returns Monday morning. It is a great weekend escape all while supporting a good cause because $25.00 of every cabin booked will be donated directly back to Komen Tidewater. Tidewater RC Flying Club
The club will be taking a special model plane dubbed Mr. Mulligan to area events in Virginia and other East Coast states.  The plane is painted white with pink trim and has a 10 foot wingspan.  For a donation participants at events can use a special pen to write a name on the plane.  For more information about the club and event scheduling please visit www. flytrc.com
