Thanks to more than 100,000 survivors and activists dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Affiliate Network is the world's largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to curing breast cancer at every stage—from the causes, to the cures, to the pain and anxiety of every moment in between.

Congratulations to Our Grantees!

The Komen Tidewater Affiliate recently awarded 10 community grants totaling $332,420 to support breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs in the Tidewater Affiliate service area.  For more info...

Old School Legends Basketball Tournament
Take yourself back to high school when John Speller hosts the Battle of the Districts for the Second Annual Dr. Clarence V. Cuffee Basketball Tournament. Graduates from two sets of high school classes 1976 to 1982 and 1983 to 1990 will be playing July 12th at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake. Read more...

Bat for the Cure
The Norfolk Tides Baseball Club brings, for the third year in a row, Bat for the Cure on July 26th at Norfolk Tides Park. The Tide players will be wearing their special only-for-this-game pink jerseys in support of the fight to end breast cancer.  The game starts at 7:15 pm, but you won't want to miss it when a breast cancer survivor throws out the first pitch. Read more...

Hope on the Horizon Luncheon
Amy Chase, an Independent Longaberger Branch Leader, will once again be hosting this special luncheon event. The luncheon promotes breast cancer awareness while letting participants enjoy the camraderie of other Longaberger Basket enthusiasts and breast cancer supporters.  Read more...
