2009 Competitive Race Results

Thanks for your participation in the 2009 Komen Tidewater Race for the Cure.  The Tidewater Striders ran the Competitive part of the event and will have results and standings listed on their website at http://www.tidewaterstriders.com/results09.html.  We hope you did well and had a new PR.

We appreciate your participation in an event created to raise awareness and funding in the fight to end breast cancer.  The funds raised at the Race, and other fiscal year events, will have 75% of the net proceeds remaining in the Tidewater service area, which covers 21 counties in Southeast Virginia.  Grants are distributed to breast health service organizations for education, screening, and treatment.  The remaining 25% is directed completely to breast cancer research and development.  No money is used to support our headquarters.  Your time, donations, and registration fee make a difference!
